Ethan Hawke and Kevin Bacon shared a compelling scene, but the true highlights of the movie were the deer and flamingos. Unfortunately, the meaningless conversations, particularly involving Julia and onward, made the film a waste of time, with the director seemingly ridiculing both Julia and himself.
