I haven't seen a horror movie since I was a teen. The hype made it irresistible to miss... overall, it was meh. (Great music tho) Started off great, suspenseful, like others say, but to call this a horror movie is a bit of a stretch. Just as things got going and the suspense was high, it basically fell flat. Overall storyline felt very... familiar... the whole zombie-like, evil doppelganger thing, just felt so predictable in some way. Also, I didn't care much for the unnecessary comic relief throughout the movie, afterall, this is a horror, right? I truly caaaaan't stand movies that insist on using puns and obvious jokes/dad jokes. It cheapened the authenticity of what was said to be truly "original, and thought provoking 'horror.'" I found it corny, truthfully. I wouldn't watch it again.
