The fight sequences, emotional scenes and the subtle romance all keep you engaged throughout the film. Indian Cinema surpasses itself with breathtaking cinematography. The airstrikes in the air are brilliantly done. Don’t miss out the background score- gripping! Jai Hind! A patriotism stirring and also entertaining film after long! Happy Republic Day folks !

It is with a heavy heart that I am giving 2 stars to a Raj Kumar Hirani film. A film that starred Shah Rukh, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani had audiences expecting a superb entertainer.The truth is far from it. Spectacular locations, great cinematography and lovely costume design appear wasted in a film characterised by poor storytelling. Try as it might with great emotion and drama, excellent dialogues, but the film fails miserably at the very core. It is more like a documentary that depicts the life and struggles of poor illegal immigrants who settle for menial jobs in developed countries trying to make the lives of people back home better. This altruism is hard to digest in Our modern world today. is RKH trying to send a message - that countries should open their borders to allow immigrants without visa and legal documentation? Can beggars in London afford to build mansions back in India? A very loosely structured story with several loose ends. It simply fails to connect with and engage the audiences. I am hugely disappointed….

We simply loved the film. A complete family entertainer it has something for everyone. The chemistry between Ranbir and Alia is mind-blowing on screen. Script-wise, the movie is weak, but the excellent VFX made up for it. Every frame in the movie is praiseworthy. The actors have all made a very dedicated effort from Amitabh Bachchan to Shahrukh and Nagarjuna. Mouni Roy as the evil Junoon is fantastic. The Indian attempt to create a homegrown Avengers Series is credible. Kudos to Bollywood! Waiting to see Part 2- Dev…

A real disappointment this movie is. Especially for someone like me who loved the original “Love aaj kal. “The lead pair just does not connect with the audience who is waiting for the end which is Sooo predictable. Sara Ali Khan who is styled so well in the film but her performance is terrible!!! Karthik Aryan too disappoints. It is just the new girl as “Leena” who brings a breath of fresh air to the film. But her role is very small. Camera work, dialogues and editing- all very poor... The new millennium generation is not the confused lot shown in the film. They know what love is and what their careers mean to them. Also try balance the two very well! I don’t think the portrayal of Zoe the leading character makes any sense... over the top expressions from sara and very bad dialogue delivery also. No nice songs in the film.... or just about nothing to take back from the movie. Please don’t waste your money!!
