It was a pretty turd. Visually stunning and lacking substance. It is a Kardashian. Denis should be ashamed. They could have done so much and failed. Imagine if Lynch was given two movies to tell the tale! This version fell very flat for me. Two bright spots: I thought Dave Bautista was well cast as Rabban, and Rebecca Ferguson did a nice job as Jessica. Javier Bardem was awful as Stilgar and I usually like Bardem. I could go on and on, but it is too depressing. Save your money and watch it at home. My first movie in a theater in 4 years and it was a huge letdown.
