Hi SanthwanamTeam, All the actors in this serial are skilled. Everyone acts naturally. Still i am giving such a low rating is due to the ideology of the serial which they are trying to convey to the audience. The serials in Asianet creates a powerful impact on the malayali audience who watch them from across the world. Almost everyone watches and knowingly or unknowingly especially the older people are living in those stories. So, if we try to convey the good things, it will impact everyones mental growth in a good way. Santhwanam serial which is being telecasted almost every day in peak time is watched by almost all. This serial in general focus and give priority to the gents in the family. In a society where we are trying to reduce the gender discrimination and where ladies are struggling maximum almost everyday for equal rights in the society, if we try to show the patriarchial contents in a serial like santhwanam, it will impact millions in a negative way and unknowingly we are making the paths for ladies in our society even tougher. Parents guide, give good education, help them to become independent and support their children throughout their life. If parents are supporting their children without any gender discrimination then when talking about the responsibility towards parents when they get old, why only sons are responsible. Why daughters are not responsible. I strongly believe every children should be equally responsible towards their parents. There is no need of any discrimination here. So, After marriage, it doesnot mean that the daughter will become guest in her own family. It does not mater whether a daughter got married or not, her responsibility towards her parents remains same irrespective of her gender. She has equal rights as her brothers. In this serial, especially in the recent episodes, when Hari and Aparna goes to Aparnas home, why to create so much scene and why to show that going to wifes home and staying is a wrong thing. This is not at all acceptable. why to show so much over action for extending the stay. A wife should have equal rights to go and stay with her family. That should not be questionable. Not just husbands has their family. Wife is also human and she also has her own rights. Here in this serial, Thambi is portrayed as evil character. His intentions are wrong. But for that,dont try to control girls rights. Dont show this way in this serial. Instead please show the audience a very balanced, society with gender equality, allowing ladies to do their duties and live their life happily. Please try to create a positive environment. The existing contents are further spoiling the older generation and will strengthen their patriarchial habbits. Please try to make change in the contents. Not just santhwanam serial, any program being telecasted should benefit the audience and try to bring good changes to the society. Dont potray a lady who is trying to be independent and trying to her duties as a negative character. I am writing so much because i strongly feel this can worsen the beliefs of many people and unknowingly making the lives of many normal ladies tougher Thank you for understanding
