This movie is definitely a transformative journey of Arthur/Joker and it's done beautifully. Joaquin Phoenix's body movement from the bizarre contortionist to the free loving dancer is seamless and erie at the same time. His intense stare leaves you waiting for bloodshed only to have the silence broken by his laughter and insidious cough. The cinematography, the directing, the acting - it's all good. I would highly recommend it.
