If you're looking for a film based on Mr. Roger's this is definitely it, but it isn't, but it is. Let me explain. A lot of people I know didn't like the film because it wasn't based solely on Mr. Roger's. But in retrospect it is. And here's why. They took a personal experience in Mr. Roger's life and made it into a movie. Which to me is brilliant. But some have a misconception going into the theater thinking it's only about Mr. Rogers and his television program. And I believe that is where the poor reviews are coming from. So if you want to see a true to life heartwarming film then this is a must see.
