I gave this 5 stars but I'm traumatized. Possibly the best and worst thing I've ever seen.

Started out laugh-out-loud funny. Started to slow down imo but hugh grant is hilarious as the professor.

Having suffered life changing depression myself, i really wanted to feel bad for him but i soon found this whole thing fake and lacking a foundation or cohesive thread other than poor me syndrome. Ugh. It's bad.

Sooo good. Louis Andersen amazes me. A silly, dark and insightful look at highly unusual but oh so normal family.

If you would have told me at the beginning of the series about the black and white rooftop dance scene, I would have skipped it and missed out on possibly my favorite screen experience OF ALL TIME. I was spellbound and breathless. Simply amazing. "Dance scene" doesn't describe the scene at all. It was magic, sad and beautiful. The pushes and pulls of life and love and right and wrong weaving through it all.
