This is officially my first favourite film. For a while I would watch romantic comedies and they all had the same theme and morales, in addition to the same "love at first sight" with all of it about sex. This is unrealistic and not sustainable in the real world. But REAL love, shouldn't just be about that, it should be about the couple genuinely respecting and caring for one another, noticing the little things about them before they even broach the topic of sex in the relationship.
This is precisely what this movie is all about. In such I think it adds a unique, fresh, balance to the plot, with two educated individuals trying to master romantic love in the real world. Of course, the approach that the couple is taking may not be to everyone's tastes. Nonetheless, if you are looking for a rather conservative, deep and realistic sort of film, "The Mirror Has Two Faces" is the film for you.
