I'm seeing so many people comment here saying Super Deluxe is a bad movie. Seriously? Thiagarajan Kumararaja! Take a bow.. For now, I can very confidently say you are the only director in Tamil cinema apart from Vetrimaaran and Mysskin to be knowledgeable in world cinema and philosophical cum scientifical concepts. This movie is not for typical movie goers. Those people will celebrate this movie after 10 years. Very similar to Pulp Fiction. The use of abrupt event linkages indicates that anything can happen at any moment - something Pulp Fiction indicates. The presence of an Alien, the TV falling on the head, shouts this blatantly. Simply brilliant. Also a thing I noticed, the Gaaji boy wears a half- cat shirt which is a poke at the Schrodinger's cat experiment, indicating he can be omnipresent. wow. I give this the highest movie rating for a Tamil movie. I am not a reviewer but I have watched quite a few movies to know the filmmaking craft. Rejoice in happiness and be slumber Kumararaja! for you have woven a masterpiece.
