It successfully convinced me that the doll had some kind of supernatural powers and shocked me with the twist they had prepared at the end.

The plot is interesting, the storyline is quite twisting and the actors are great - especially those who play H.G. Wells and John Stevenson. The only bad thing about this show, for me, is the fact that it was cancelled.
