Brian Kudakwashe

I guess it was always going to be a hit or miss, especially for fans of the book series. It's a miss for me sadly. The show's decent enough, but 6 episodes in and I'm disappointed. Maybe the books were so well written with the world and characters so painstakingly crafted that any adaptation was going to struggle to compete. I would've preferred something closer to the original like TLOTR or 85% of GoT, but at least many people are enjoying it. I've got my wife watching so now I'll have to watch along with her for as long as I can endure it. Maybe it's going to get better (everything seems so small though, I get no sense of the vastness of world, of Tar Valon. Even Loial seems small, lol!) Trying to divorce the TV series from the books in my mind is the only way that I'm likely going to enjoy it. I'm trying my best because I really want to like it.
