Can we just like forget that this game was part of the main story? I'm just gonna keep the first game as the true story and ending. Let me just say this, the game was disappointing and confusing at the same time really. We get like 3 hours of Ellie game play and then we get 7 hours of Abby game play? The story was just shifting around from Ellie to Abby, but it was mainly Abby. I was hoping they would expand more on Joel and Ellie's relationship and how Joel's actions affected them both deeply. There could've been a redemption arc or anything to expand their story from the first game, but there was nothing. Just tiny flashbacks of them (which I did enjoy watching) talking and bonding. I know they are trying to bring new characters into the light, but they did it in such a way that I could not get attached to them. The whole game was everywhere, in a bad way. I'm actually okay with the idea of a bitter/unhappy ending since this is an apocalyptic world, but so much could've been added or done better, plot-wise. The plot did not even get near the plot of the first game. Honestly, I expected more from 7 years of waiting from a legendary game franchise.
