2/5
When I first watched this movie, I thought that it was possibly the best movie ever and I was sure to watch it many times again. This was my favorite movie.
I bought it once it came out on DVD, super stoked to see it again. When I finished watching it, I was less than happy. I did like Steve wielding Mjolnir, that was liberating. And I think for the most part it was well paced, but I obviously had problems with it.
I can't be the only one who thought that there was no need and it was incredibly cringy to add Fortnite, Professor Hulk and dabbing. Like what was the reason? Did the fans like pressure the Russo brothers to add that in? I also didn't like that only Clint really cared about Natasha's death. Like yeah when he came back without her they were all sad for a second. Then it's was like ok whatever. This movie could have been better off not 3 hours because it was like they didn't know what to do sometimes.
I can't not mention the vfx. I think it was beautiful and realistic. But the oddly positive response from everyone is kind of strange and unrealistic. I bet there were some people who loved it, but there had to have been people who didn't like it. I wasn't completely let down, I love the MCU for the most part, it's just this wasn't their best work. I'm gonna go and watch Infinity War.
