Regarding today’s topic about “Defund the Police”. Yes, the term is very confusing. I suggest renaming it to “Restructuring the Police Department”. Restructuring is an HR term used when adding or decreasing current staff or change up the mix of staff in the department. I think the general public would understand this term better.
