I honestly really enjoyed it. I've seen some comments saying how they were expecting and hoping for a murder mystery and while I understand the confusion from the blurb, there's already so many teenage murder mysteries out there and 99% of them are trash. But this book made me feel like I was following the lifes of these sympathetic characters, I even forgot about how dark it was going to end up at times. What happened to Lydia broke my heart. I've read endless books with deaths and to be honest none of them have much of an impact but I really felt this one. I felt for her family. For every single member. I felt for Lydia so much, particularly in her last scene, it was heartbreaking. An incredible read if you're interested in family issues/dynamics
