It erks me when a thriller movie's pace stops dead for yet another piece of exposition, (this 'thriller' is full of them) at a drug AA meeting. The script is predictable and clichéd, some of the acting is week (because of the script?). Colin Farrel & John Malkovitch do a great job with what they have to work with, but Jessica Chastain is trying too hard to make the heartless killer who cares.
It has its moments, but over all feels disjointed, clichéd and slow for a thriller.
