I bought this game on the Black Friday deal that PlayStation has going on right now, I’ve played the last the 3 show games and if you plan on only playing offline road to the show then go ahead and buy this game. With that being said, stay away from diamond dynasty. The matchmaking is completely broken. Now I do have high level cards because I’ve been playing a lot of diamond dynasty, but I’m only level 20 bronze. In the last 5 games I’ve played I’ve been paired against in order; 5 diamond, 90 gold, 30 diamond, 80 diamond, and now a level 100 prestige with an infinitely better team than mine. The 100 prestige had the 99 diamond Bauer card and I got multiple good swing timings with my high diamond players and either swung right through the pitch, yes ones that were in the zone, and I got a couple perfects with my power hitters that resulted in fly outs at the wall. All you need is an OP pitcher and some pitching IQ and you’re set. Also, the person I was facing had a 99 diamond Griffey Jr. with diamond defense and he dropped a line drive. That’s absolutely ridiculous, I feel his pain because that happened to me too. Once again, if you’re only playing RTTS, buy it, if not, stay away.
