The campaign is definitely a fun to play experience with an interesting story to go with it. The things that bring the game down though are glaring and it doesn't even seem like the people that made the game realize it. its not in your face with how they try to portray ms. marvel as just as important as the other avengers but it still feels forced. no one cares about ms.marvel being in the game and the proof is in her comic book sales. the multiplayer meanwhile is incredibly repetitive and gets dull really fast. The gear system is propped up to be this special thing in the game but all it really is is a bad version of what assassins creed odyssey has. the gears only real purpose is to keep a players character at a high level so they can keep doing online missions without getting outmatched by one robot in the first 30 seconds of a mission. The only hope this game has in attracting players is DLC characters but that so far seems like its not even going to be a saving grace as they're adding characters like Kate bishop that no one cares about. if they added Kate later it wouldn't be a problem but as the FIRST DLC character. they mention captain marvel several times in the game and even have Hank Pym mention Scott Lang at one point. Yet were stuck with Kate bishop as the first then we gotta wait months to get someone else into the game. Unfortunately by that time it would be to little to late and the potential this game had would be lost. They pushed out a game that wasn't ready and are giving players and the marvel fans among those players a game with mechanics and content no one wanted and additional DLC that no one asked for.
