Thought provoking for those who give little thought to the plight of the Aborigine. They should be made to watch this film....
But, for those who have experienced the cruelty of colonialism, and still continue to til this day, it is a chilling and sickening reminder. As an East Timorese I understand their plight all too well. My country was torm apart by colonialism and my family forced to flee when the Indonesians invaded. My sister became part of the hundreds maybe thousands of 'stolen generation' of East Timorese children by Indonesian soldiers. I can clearly see how the greed of colonialism still continues to find its way into the agenda of the Australian Government today despite them preaching change. You would have to be blinded by pride, ignorance or innocence not to see this. I wonder, when will they ever just stop and finally give these people peace?
