Say what you want about the movie, but Guy Ritchie certainly knows how to skillfully tell a, what people would say cliche, story. I wonder if Nolan is influencing him somehow. The pace of the plot and how the story is told, including great cinematography, is what makes the movie really good in my opinion. Not to mention, the score is equally phenomenal. Predictably so as Benstead's work on The Gentlemen (also a Ritchie work) was also as masterwork. Statham's signature stoicism carries a lot of the film, and his delivery is nothing like his work on Hobbs & Shaw. Eastwood was interesting. I couldn't quite shake off his usual 'good guy' vibe but was pleasantly surprised when I saw him play a role he's not usually seen playing.
Overall, the movie is great. It is a cliche plot but you might be caught off guard, if you want to be. And if you're a fan of Guy Ritchie's classic flair, then this film is a must watch!
