Look, I'm a Harry Potter fan. I've read every book at least a dozen times. But that doesn't change the fact that this movie sucked. (BTW this review may contain spoilers). For one, the last movie was pretty much forgotten, and everything that happened was disregarded. Events weren't explained, and there were too many random exposition chunks slapped in the middle of the movie making it slightly disorienting. Many details from the book were disregarded, such as how Dumbledore taught transfiguration, not defense against the dark arts, and how they mentioned McGonagall l as a teacher when she was either a very small child, or not yet born. Council of Geeks made a pretty good video on this, and so several others. :/
