I expected it to be a cheesy Hallmark-style Christmas movie (low bar) but it was much worse. The writing was bad, acting was worse and the main couple (Brooke Shields and Cary Elwes) have NO chemistry together. I upgraded my rating from 1 to 2 stars because Hamish the dog was adorable.
