It is a film that is something to watch at least once. There doesn’t need to be any words to express the ending. The movie can tell you a lot about living your life in the future. If you hate it, i’m sorry but just don’t waste your time watching a film without understanding the concept. Tokyo Story was never a film to just watch visually, this was a film to learn about.

If you've seen one or two of a Nikkatsu film starring Jo Shishido or Akira Kobayashi, don't expect to find anything new in here. Nikkatsu always ends up doing a lot of Yakuza films to the point you don't know which ones which. This one though, is a little more special as it stands out for it's good story and its all violence and no story style. 7/10 Not as great as expected but just a film to watch if you're ever just lazy or not wanting to watch a complicated or detailed film.

Tokyo Drifter is not as important as Branded To Kill but you can learn a thing or two on how to use color correctly. The film's jazzy (used this word in my Branded to Kill review) and colorful cinematography shows that the camera can be like a playground and is worth playing and experimenting with. 10/10 More fun and understandable to watch than Branded to Kill and can be useful for learning on how to use the right colors for films.

The jazzy, stylish, and artistic way that Suzuki made that he never used before proves to be an important cinematic film that forever changed the history of Japanese art films and destroyed Nikkatsu films. 9/10 A slight bit outdated with the B-Movie supplies but is certainly a must watch for people who enjoy yakuza films and art films.
