She does not look ahead with a blank stare.....she constantly is turning her head to whomever she hears talking so Mira Belle is incorrect in her review stating she looks blankly straight into space inaccurately for a 14 yr who lost her vision. She constantly looks around--in cars, in her apt, at her job....so does the younger gal (cops daughter), who also lost her vision as a young teen. Great show. Love love love! Love that the main character is so flawed and hard to accept, deal with but still lovable.
