A great watch. I hope there a second season in the makings.

Unlike 99% of tv shows and movies today, this series has no definite victim or villain. It isn't typical boring and overdone black and white hate this person and feel sorry for this one tv series. In this series both main characters are both the makings of their own misfortunes. One is ruthless, greedy, narcissistic and emotionally abusive towards others. The other character is disrespectful of those who love him, work for him, and who stood by him for many years prior to meeting the former mentioned character. He also seeks the easy answers and easy way, which makes him easy prey for the narcissist. This series is well done in that respect.

It's alright but shouldn't be wasting prime time space. I never watched the original, but if it was this ordinary I can see why it too went off the air.
