As a white woman, this film was horrific in how well it depicts what black Americans still face everyday. History does not stop repeating this and if I could I would force all the evil racists to watch this to gain some piece of mind. This movie was heart wrenching and honestly was very raw. The actors did a great job and I praise them for committing to such a harsh role. Nobody could watch this movie and say it was bad, it’s simply just another tale of the injustice America commits to black residents on a daily basis. Our current society only continues to revert back to its old ways (like the algiers story); i.e. louisiana, alabama, arkansas, missouri, etc. I am not religious but I pray for all those who continue to face discrimination and black americans today. Black is beautiful and strong, and this movie was truly inspiring and horrific at the same time. 10/10
