This is definitely how the movie should have been from the start. I get that it can't be as violent because DC was always one ball short of a pair, but I have to say that they nailed it. If you didn't like the first one because a lack of realism and violence then this one won't disappoint you. Snyder makes great films and I feel that they would do much better if he embraced the dark side a bit more. The CGI alone is reason enough to watch this remake as there is so much more!
