Great example of live service game done right.

Turn your brain all the way off. First scene MC throwing axe at tree making loud thumping noises. Deer 20ft doesn’t hear or see or smell anything. Sneaks right up on it. Next scene; MC and brother are aiming bows at a bird carrying away a fish. Brother shoots bird that is clearly flying away with its food back to nest, MC says bad move there champ it was apparently gonna do a full circle and come back to us. In defence of the natives speaking English; it’s so you don’t have to read the subtitles to know what’s going on so it doesn’t distract from the CGI. I mean it’s probably cheaper to get a snake and film it eating a rodent but here we get CGI. I was gonna tear it apart scene by scene but I don’t want to spoil the whole movie. But basically you’ll enjoy it more the more your brain is turned all the way off. I mean don’t get me wrong the original predator(I just watched it a half hour before starting prey) you have to shut your brain off too but not in the way you have to for prey. Predator doesn’t have any issues suspending your beliefs. I can totally believe the movie being plausible in the sense that yeah if this creature attacked soldiers in real life how would that look/feel/play out. Prey on the other hand can not possibly exist in this reality because nothing in this movie has any basis in reality. There’s a scene where the predator picks up a bear and tosses it aside after punching it in the face so hard it falls over. I don’t think that it’s outside the realm of possibility that even with one arm if predator grabbed the MC and slammed her on the ground that she would be damaged. Spoiler alert not even a scratch as other reviewers have said. The only explanation I can come up with is the whole theme of the movie is underestimating what women can do and that’s what literally every guy character does to the MC including predator Like it was a juvenile on its first hunt and decided to go easy on the girl and ended up paying for it. Im not against women as MC or being super good amazing at things but do it right next time. This is what it looks like when you do it wrong. My head canon is I accept everything up until the final fight where preddy chokeslams her one handed breaking her neck on the ground. You can do sci-fi and keep it within the realm of realism. Like if you make noises in the woods you’ll scare away all the wild life and not have some buck 20ft away from you. Or if you get chokeslammed by a being that literally had the strength to one hand punch a bear to death then lift it above it’s head you die. Also the grip strength would have been more then enough to instantly crush her throat. Now to copy the unbelievability of the movie I’m gonna give it an unbelievable rating of 3 out of 5 stars. It’s fine for casual viewers but will upset people who care about predator franchise or care about some believability in their movies, even if they are about crazy alien hunters preying upon humans for sport.

I almost died laughing when I read one person’s review saying go watch buzz lightyear over this. T Cruisey made one hell of a sequel especially when you are in the dbox(seats that move dynamically with the action) it stayed true to being a top gun film. It also upped its game in the drama department as it was able to bring a tear to my eye in some of the scenes. This is a huge upgrade from the original and is one of my favourite movies of all time. The writing was good I’m usually hard on that stuff but here it was good. Although a lot of the sequences kinda match up to the original film in terms of pacing and what scenes come next kinda like starwars new hope and force awakens. The action was amazing. As Tom cruise says this is like capturing lightning in a bottle. They super succeeded. Best film of the year and dare I say of the decade. I would nominate for the top 10 greatest movies of all time. Especially with dbox seats what a ride wow! I can’t stop thinking about seeing it again and again. It got the bad taste of the obi wan tv series out of my mouth(or any Disney tv series but mando and some movies). But again some people think you should go see buzz lightyear(5m opening day lol probably will go down as the biggest Pixar flop ever). I give top gun maverick 10/10 movie of the year.

343 finally made Halo their own on this one. 4 was too COD, 5 was too Gears, and infinite is halo 1, halo 3, halo reach and Doom 2016 had a baby. I just wish the music got the Doom 2016 makeover. A banging soundtrack would have been epic here. I played the multiplayer and it kept me coming back for more which is incredibly rare for a multiplayer game to do that to me. This will definitely be a game that I will no life and put 1000’s of hours in to. Thanks 343 for coming thru with this game and giving Halo the treatment it deserves. Although some sound effects I find myself wishing were more plasma/Alien sounding. The spectre turret sounds like a human cannon lol. Overall I give this a 10/10. Although a developer said this wasn’t a master piece, it never really needed to be. All it needed to be was Master Chief :P great game. Must have for everyone with a pc or Xbox. PlayStation users should also get an Xbox with ultimate game pass cuz it’s better then plus at the moment too. Sony asleep at the moment lol

I’ve played this game non stop on console, been picking up the DLC as they come out which is a must. It’s one of my most favourite games of all time. The developers add new updates that change the features so you have to learn some new mechanics which can be fun. I find on the hardest difficulty on small maps I literally have no trouble at all with any AI empires. Since the new update came out I played a large map and the sheer scale(I’m assuming anyways) of a everything going on rendered my save broken because the game crashes on console when it tries to load the save. Hopefully a patch will come out and it’ll save my game. I find it relaxing and not stressful and very much enjoyable. I can’t speak for anyone else but despite some of the issues I’ve had like with my save crashing I super love this game and I see myself playing it for years to come. I wish they would fast track the development for the dlc because without it some parts of the game kinda feel like I’m just waiting for something to happen/something to do. I wish there was more ship customization of its appearance so I could make the ships more unique looking instead of just like 6 different themes of ships to pick build your own theme of ships. Mods would be cool too but anyways definitely 6/5 thanks for this gem of a title Paradox looking forward to new IP’s you guys make
