I'm a psychology undergraduate and I used Ed Lane as a case study for an assignment. The assignment was to take a character from popular media and make the case for why they have a mental disorder. I went through the flashpoint episodes and made a thorough case for Ed developing PTSD due to the shooting of Gordon Tomasic and Mae Dalton. This show is so psychologically accurate. I have watched every episode a minimum of 3 times.
