Why is anime always in some sort of mission to place weirdest anime girls to exist? They went ahead to keep a middle school dog girl who LITERALLY walks around in all fours, sniffs people and licks people's tears of and talk like a baby. WHY?! I better I would never live long enough to see a male character act like a child, let alone a dog. This sucks because the plot and story looked absolutely enchanting until the animators showed their kink. Even if time has been frozen and she has a mind of five year old, WHY does she need to become a dog? This ruined a perfect story for me.

I wish the directors realized that the reason Frozen 1 success was not just because how magical or adventurous it was but due to the heavy emotional that supported it, making it absolutely enchanting and a huge hit. In Frozen 1, Elsa was a highly anxious person, and the way they dealt with it in the first film was top notch. Frozen 2 tries up a highly adventurous, magical story following origin of Elsa powers, and it's disappointing when the idea of a movie is extremely exciting but execution makes it feel opposite of convincing and connectable. Simply because they had no direction in character development and emotions, or they at least failed to execute it if they did. I was very disappointed in this movie. The characters were in my heart for many years since childhood. It could have been a lot better.

SPOILERS I am torn on how many stars I would give and if you wanted me to tell you exactly how many- it would be 2.5. I obviously disliked this movie more than I liked it because my expectations on Marvel is always 5 stars. Let us explore the pros and cons, shall we? Pros: 1. Brings light to animal abuse in an extremely sensitive, moving, and heart wrenching way. Rocket's backstory- a simple yet powerful scene of him being a very teensy cub and being reached by a human hand is one of the most intense scenes I have ever seen. That alone, brought so much sensitivity to animal abuse along with many other scenes. 2. I liked that Quill and Gamora just didn't become couples again just like that. I appreciate how realistic it is that Gamora is the one of her past self and all her character developments are erased and is forming a different, own story but not too far away from Quill. 3. I liked the character developments of others. Mantis going to discover self, Nebula taking it on herself to be the safe place for all children, being one of the guardians of galaxy and learning to love is so heartwarming. 4. Visuals and ideas in world building are obviously amazing, need I comment on that? 5. The ending was great. Cons: Oh no no no. Where do I start 1. The plot has no originality. Like literally none. Director over did it. They are trying to make every, I mean EVERY scene intense with all background music when it's not and it makes every scene feel bland. Most moving "dialogue" and scenes are already soooo repeated in most other movies (i am talking about any other movie, not just Marvel) and it's cringe to fit everything down here. 2. Villian is ABSURD. He is a mad man and i know many mad man villians who are still effective. Kind of like thanos if i am being honest. Am I supposed to be taking the villian seriously or as a part of comedy? Because on one hand, he is all so cringe and absurd and I am thinking okay- Maybe I should be taking this lightly- and then he is there mass mutilating baby raccoons. I can't even feel bad, i only feel cringe. 3. Oh my God, Rocket's friends! Soooo 2D, bland, unoriginal and cringe and honestly, it made me want to gag. I didn't feel their bond no matter how much they stressed just because how badly executed it was. What's with those voices, are we watching Pixar? I didn't like that. 4. What's with all the gore lol. Not Marvel at all. All in all, movie seemed artificial and not great tbh. But it's my opinion and take it as a grain of salt because some of my friends seemed to like it a lot.

I seriously don't know what I just watched. The movie was horrible, the message was very very scattered and off. Which sucks because the concept and idea was good but execution was horrible. First of all, I do not know why no one mentioned this thus far but a 17 year old girl wakes up from coma 20 years later, but still has 17 year old maturity. And yet her then boyfriend and guy friend who are now 20 years more mature than her think it's okay to date her? Like she is seventeen and they are close to forty. Her then boyfriend now has a daughter her mental age. I do not understand because Seth keeps mentioning that she is a mere teenager, yet continues dating her despite being almost forty. All characters were shallow, unrealistic and there was no depth to them. There is absolutely no logic and their reaction to her waking up is underwhelming. And oh my god, Marth. She keeps ridiculing Stephanie for seeking new friends. How should Stephanie, still seventeen by mind, maintain a friendship with a woman who is now twenty years older? Naturally, she will need friends her mental age, I do not see why Marth being as old as she is, does not treat her as a teenager. She needs to be mature and somehow in the end, Marth is the right one? All more, the movie had no depth or emotions at all. Very bad and cringe.

As someone who gets scared very easily, this movie bored me a lot. There weren't much thrilling moments so I was disappointed. It was so highly predictable and there are so many movies like this out there. And I do not understand how the daughter lost all the trust on a mother she shared such close relationship with for a seventeen Years just by a simple medicine bottle. The build up could have been done slowly. And the mother wasn't scary at all, there were better ways to make her feel like a threat without changing her personality one bit. Horrible direction. Not to mention, this movie had too much build up for nothing, it didn't have to be too serious every second, that only took away its seriousity. And there were so many plotholes. There are better movies out there.
