If you’re asking yourself, why everyone is watching this show than maybe you should go ahead and watch it. There is an overarching plot but it’s very loosely used to set the events that happen in Earn, Paper Boi and Darius’s life in motion. You cant put your hand around why the show is good. It takes a lot of issues we face in the day to day world and shows it to you in a nuanced way. You can pick apart each episode to understand what the meaning of it was and you’ll end up with a day full of thoughts. Brain Tyree Henry and Darius played by Lakeith Stanfield are the standouts. They somehow make the show even better. It’s funny and thought provoking. In the first season I was trying to overthink and deduce everything in the show but you just get a hang of it and enjoy the ride. Season 2 is the best of the 3 seasons that are out. Being an Indian I could understand some of the issues that were being laid out in the episodes and it felt good to be recognized in a way. Waiting for season 4. Let’s gooo.

I’m in a minority here but I still do think The Dark Knight is a better movie BUT this movie is up there as the 2nd best movie adaptation of Batman. Robert Pattinson is now my favorite Batman. Yes, I actually said that. He is such a great actor and is the perfect choice. Anyone that says he can’t act please open your eyes. He Excellently captured the turmoil Bruce Wayne is going through as well the tortured hero within. The movie is very realistic in the way that Bruce/Batman is human. The ending was believable because Batman doesn’t have superpowers. Expecting him to do something like the Avengers is very unrealistic. Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman was very believable and she had a story that seemed plausible. She has great chemistry with Robert. I hope they develop their relationship in the next movie. Every side character has been perfectly cast including Carmine Falcone. He was amazing in the movie. I am definitely rewatching this movie. Kudos to Robert Pattinson because he is so amazing in this movie.

The season finale episode is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It was nothing short of perfection. The vulnerability shown by Byron however true or fake it was, was beautiful to watch. I didn’t expect him to act well but the actor played Byron to perfection. This show is brilliant. I don’t watch shows like this but this one intrigued me enough to sit through it. Hooked from the first episode. A well thought out show with dark comedy. Everyone was perfectly cast right down to the nun. The show touches on so many different topics that are rarely done in the way this show does it. Moreover it wasn’t in such a way that pushed it down your throat to make you feel exasperated. I can’t wait to watch the next season and hopefully all the loose ends will be tied up. Shout out to the actress that played Hazel and the always running Bennett.

If this was a spoof of all the movies/TV shows/books about a woman sitting and spying on the people around her then I believe it. Most of the time I didn’t know if this was a spoof or a story to take seriously. I laughed a lot more than I expected because it was great. I have read books like this starting from The girl on the train and this show really makes you wonder why someone would drink all day and spy on their neighbors. The scene where they show what happened to Anna’s daughter should not have been funny but it was frikkin hilarious. Like who TF does that. Kristen Bell’s acting is supposed to be terrible which is the whole point of this spoof but she is amazing in this role. I hope there is another season coming because I’m a sucker for anything Kristen Bell does. She picks excellent material to act in. If she wore a garbage bag and talked about something I’d probably still watch it because she’s wonderful and anything she touches has been a delight to watch. This show was a great change from watching boring tv shows that don’t really pique interest in me. Hopefully we get more shows like this in the future.

Dark and Moody. It just works and in my eyes that’s how Batman should be. He’s reclusive and lives in the dark which makes perfect sense for the atmosphere and tone this movie is set in. People say after this movie Batman became Tim Burton’s version of it but I’m not against it. I don’t mind an origin tale being spun in a different direction. It makes it more authentic because it’s different we know Batman’s story but seeing it move in a different direction made this much more interesting to me. I love this movie. I didn’t expect I’d love it either but it was great. Right off the bat you know the world Gotham is. It’s filth and no one is cleaning up the streets but people are scared of Batman. I like how Tim Burton took this movie in a way that people think Bruce Wayne is aloof and doesn’t know whats going on but in reality he knows exactly what goes on in the city and tries his best to clean up what he can. I really like the Joker in this movie even though Jack Nicholson played himself in this movie, it works for the day and age it was set in. Lot of the scenes for example where he throws out 20 Million dollars of cash to the public seemed just like the thing he would do and The Dark Knight movie felt like it borrowed some of the plot points from this movie. May I say the scene where he butchers the museum with his face everywhere was brilliant with Prince playing in the background. Wonderful stuff. Even the ad he does for the cosmetic product was just so brilliant. I really enjoyed this movie. Micheal Keaton was perfect as Bruce Wayne. This is what happens when you put a comedic actor into a dramatic role. They’re brilliant. For the backlash he had I think he shut everyone up. He’s the perfect Bruce Wayne for me. The world building and portrayal of every single character was just excellent and I would definitely watch this movie again even if it did have its flaws.

I have never seen a Tim Burton movie before until Batman. Yes I know. It’s insanity, but the good thing is I saw both Batman movies he directed and fell in love. The aesthetic, dreary tone and all the black you could get. The way he blends bright colors with dark broody colors is just genius. For a movie directed in late 80 and early nighties this movie is a masterpiece. Each frame is gorgeous. I loved this movie. Plot wise it was thin but the characters make up for it. I have never seen a Batman movie where Batman isn’t in the movie for a lot of scenes considering the name of the movie is after him. The plot is minimal and loses its way mid way through the movie but some aspects of it makes sense in a day and age where power is everything and people are dumb to get manipulated into doing things that they shouldn’t. Hats off to an amazing Batman. Micheal Keaton is brilliant as Bruce Wayne and Batman. He’s a reclusive billionaire as his comic counterpart and plays it to the T. He is great as Batman as well. Stand out performance in this movie was Selina Kyle/Catwoman. Which is nothing but a testament to Michelle Pffeifer. She is great in every scene she’s in and steals the show. You can’t not keep your eyes off her even for a second. I loved the transformation she has when she becomes Catwoman, her apartment transformation was brilliant. You just feel bad for Selina as she doesn’t deserve what she is going through. When she laughs you do, when she cries you cry with her. The scene where Bruce and Selina dance and Bruce asks her who does she think she is was marvelous. She changes her demeanor in every turn in that dance. I fell in love with her acting. Safe to say she is the definitive Catwoman and much better than Anne Hathaway for sure. Though Bruce and Selina don’t end up together in a weird twisted way they are perfect for each other. Shout out to Danny Devito as Penguin. You can’t even tell it’s him he’s that good and plays really well to his emotions and strengths. This movie is a dark and twisted movie which kind of soothed my inner soul.

I loved this movie. I had no expectations going into this but was very happy and pleasantly surprised. The premise has been done before but not as cute as this movie. I loved the way the main character plays the piano and tries to make it right with the woman he loves but there is always something wrong and makes you laugh because life isn't perfect. There is always something that goes slightly wrong and that is the beauty of life which was so well done on screen. Getting friend zoned is really hard but it is so cute and adorable in this movie and sometimes some things don't turn out the way you want how many ever times you want because it was not meant for you and something better is coming along. I don't mind movies like this that are cheesy but fun.

Ummmmm. I like this show but didn't. If that makes sense. I've never read the comics and saw the movie which in my opinion wasn't bad at all. It was long but good. Hence I wanted to see this show. The first 2 episodes were great, made you root for the characters but after the second episode the show dragged on with all the steam gone, that the first two episodes enticed you with. Looking glass was a fine character but his back story was not given the treatment it deserved. None of the side characters had any proper screen. There was way too much about Lady treiu(sorry for the spelling). It was just dragging on and on. Only hooded Justice had a great story and it really changes the dynamics of vigilantes. This show is one that could have been something more.

The BEST TV show that you can stream today. Apple TV+ is relatively new to me and it's surprising that they came up with a great show about a person who is honestly the role model we need. The story is very thin, an American coach is shipped off to UK to coach a sport he knows nothing about. Everyone he meets hates him and has a hard time wrapping their head around why would a guy who doesn't know about the sport actually coach a team. The reason being the owner of the soccer team in UK wants to get back at her cheating ex husband by making the team lose their matches and hiring a coach who is ridiculed in Richmond. But Ted Lasso is such an optimistic person and is such a gem of a guy who doesn't even swear. He wins over everyone around him with his genuine behavior and treating everyone around him as an equal. Many scenes can be rewatched over and over again just for Ted Lasso and his happy go lucky manner. I genuinely cried in a lot of scenes. The dynamics between the team mates and Ted makes the show what it is. I never knew Jason Sudekis is such a good actor. He truly shines and owns this role. On paper it looks like a normal story but the characters and the situations everyone is in makes the heart of the story. In a time of sadness and negativity we all need Ted Lasso and his positive attitude. We all want to feel ok and forget our troubles. That's Ted lasso for you. He will swoop in and give you a virtual hug. I'm so ready for season 2. Congratulations to Jason for winning a golden globe. You deserve it man. Keep the awards coming.

This movie was awful. I feel let down considering the first movie was pretty decent. Kept me intrigued. Plus Hardin looked super hot. He looks really different and I feel he lost his charm in this movie. I understand his tough past and childhood but he is crying a lot. I actually thought that Tessa would move on to Trevor and leave Hardin behind. But no. She wastes her character to be the same old woman in every romance movie. Is it so hard to give us an independent woman that doesn't go back to toxic relationships. She says she doesn't want him but sleeps with him at every given chance plus there were too many scenes of hooking up which removed the whole point the first movie was intriguing. It felt like they wanted to use the MA rating to the fullest. I don't get the storyline at all. There wasn't even a story to grasp on to. It made no sense to me. Ugh. The movie was awful to say the least. I was expecting better.
