This movie did not resonate with me in the least on any level. It was as plastic as its characters. Don't understand all these 5-star reviews. It won't be getting one from me. P-U.

Completely blown away by Mia Roth in the lead role of Pearl. With the exception of Joaquin Phoenix as Joker, Ms. Roth touches on absolute pure madness in her portrayal. Alone in a world she was to completely escape from, Pearl has one chance for an escape. But do too many obstacles stand in her way? Rated R for a little salty language, violence, and adult situations, it's a shame Hollywood continues to overlook performances such as Ms. Goth's. More 4 and 1/2 stars than 4.

I will give you a non-spoiler review--promise! Seems the demon from "The Nun" is back--with a vengeance! A priest is murdered and all hell seems to break out at a Paris school for girls. Sister Irene is asked by the church to investigate. If you want more, see this movie. I was very surprised. I didn't care all that much for the original (it was okay), but I thought the sequel was very tense, well directed, well acted, and had enough jump scares to satisfy even the most jaded horror movie fan. Rated R for graphic violence and adult situations. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this movie. What helped me was when I STOPPED trying to compare it to the original. This is NOT a sequel or a prequel. It is a movie that stands on its own. Is it a masterpiece; far from it. But, I was impressed by how the director showed that all religions can work and work together. So, if you're looking for gore, pea soup vomiting, and another over-the-top crucifix scene, you won't find it here. This movie is not an action movie, so you won't get car scene chases either. It also isn't full of f-bombs and constant bad language. What you will get is a movie that might just make you think and also realize that, once in a while, we all need a little faith. Rated R for some disturbing images and a little salty language. Highly recommended.

Anytime a "major release" appears on SyFy Channel BEFORE its premiere, that should tell you something. Horribly acted and simply unbelievable this was just awful. Constantly being chased by a maniac and the lead girl can do is the 100 meter mosey--PUH-LEEZE...

A fabulous movie! From directing, acting, cinematography--this one had it all. If you've read the novel "Dracula," that may have kept you away from the movie because, alas, you already know what happens. It didn't stop me! This movie was very tense and what I really enjoyed was the fact Dracula was not shown that much! The makeup is off the chart and it depicted (at least in my mind) what a vampire would actually look like! Rated R for a little salty language and some intense violence. You should give this one a chance!

Sorry guys, but after much anticipation, I finally got to see this movie. This is just another shining example of how a great trailer can sell a pretty "meh" movie. Nothing you haven't seen before only not as entertaining. If you want gore, this might be your cup of tea.

In the majority of martial arts movies that I have seen, the action is all about the fighting. If you are like me, then DON'T watch this big old mess. One-eyed talking plants, a CGI brat baby (that adds nothing to the film), a constant menace that NEVER gets addressed, and some bloodless martial arts. Actually, there aren't too many recognizable actors for me. I'm sure they only inserted the name "Jet Li" to entice more viewers than this dud deserves. One of very few Asian films that I would give -zero- stars if I could.

This one is deserving of a -zero- rating. I didn't expect much and wound up getting less than that. Writing, acting (cough/cough; wink/wink) was atrocious. Numbingly long and bloated, it's time to have the shark jump the shark. This was awful.

What did I think of this movie? Look at my rating. Completely miscast and unbearable to watch, this is a classic example of why people should leave well enough alone.
