Kristen's performance is fenomenal but the story is heavy

In spite of the great performances of the actors, and some powerful scenes, it's sad to think that there are people out there thinking that this fictional movie conveys the truth about the teachings of the Catholic faith. It presents a Church that bases its principles and internal process merely on human convenience. Very little room for the work of the Holy Spirit.
