If you're looking for a stand alone movie give it one star and move on. What we have here is a perfect movie for those of us who grew up in the Askewniverse with those rude poorly trained Clerks with names like Mr Dante & Handel. The tone is a story by a friend for his friends. It's literally the only movie that will reliably give me chills or bring a tear to my eye. This is not the exact same snappy Clerks because we (hopefully) aren't the exact same people we were 30 years ago either. This is the epilogue we rarely ever receive for characters we love. Elephant in the room....the visuals are HORRIBLE and substantially worse than 20 year old video games. Looks like a half done student project. It leaves the characters completely devoid of emotional depth of the original animation. Akward movements, poor lighting choices, this franchise deserves SO much better. With that out of the way the original voice actors being back is amazing and I found myself looking away to enjoy as a "radio show" and just imagine the visuals.
