I see some of you are mad about this not being a film for a casual film goer. It's okay to not like a good movie. This was really well made and thought out, but you have to pay attention and think about it. Apparently, that's not popular nowadays. Either way, if you like things like Space Oddesey 2001, or Tree of Life, you'll find much to appreciate about this film, but if you need action, physical comedy, or something frantic going on in your movies, THIS ISN'T FOR YOU. If you like art films about existential journeys that change people, this is going to be very pleasing. But, if you're looking for a movie to distract you from your thoughts, this won't work. This movie requires constant thought to watch, and if you didn't finish it, there's no way you can expect to understand it. Good film. I only recommend it for people who like to peel back the layers and really do some exploratory surgery. This is not for everyone.
