First 3 seasons are great compelling and I couldn’t stop watching it Then season 4 came with the “Hannibal Ferguson “ time line and dragged on for so long I frustratingly stopped watching I mostly skipped season 4 and watched 5 and 6 and 7. It gets slightly better after 6 but the decisions characters make get worse the thinking the thrown in drama and the police. SPOILER when Allie is stabbed in the neck by a heroin needle police would be able to tell it was the neck and not arm this would have led to everyone knowing it was a hotshot but of course no testing. The blackmail Ferguson had on Jake wasn’t enough to make him commit murder unless he wanted to kill someone before. He would get 90k from Ferguson but immediately pay off the drug dealers so why wouldn’t he ask for more and why would anyone believe a person on trial for multiple murders who’s a psychopath. They didn’t immediately test the blood on the hoodie found to Marie somehow. And all the officers in the prison apparently don’t have a life and can’t find people to date who DONT work or live in the prison.
