I was happy to see a new take on the late night talks show, especially seeing that it was a women leading it. Sadly as I watched more and more episodes the same jokes centered around race became stale and boring. The topic she referrers too can be funny in its own right but Lilly completely misses the mark. In her attempts of diversity she is shielding away an entire demographic from her show. I just want to see Lilly as Lilly; not the minority women of color she marketing herself as.
