That scene with the giant deformed hamster was the craziest thing I ever saw in my life. So funny though.

I just saw this for the first time like 25 years after it was made. It's silly. I could do without the gas jokes, but the family dynamics at the dinner tables with grandma Murphy really tickle my fancy. That vulgar uncle Murphy sitting next to miss perdy was generic and trite. But the overall movie and underlying themes, I give a solid B.
