Generally a good movie, it cannot be compared with the animation though. The movie started greatly then slowly took a strange direction, didn't like the ending. Some important things: I was expecting a Jafar snake; the girl empowerment song was totally out of context, different pace and stopped the natural progression of the movie; Jafar actor wasn't good and the character powers were arguable. Good idea to give the Gene a romantic story.
