It's based on true events, however, told from the perspective from a foreigner. It's a reality check on so many lapses of Hotel's std protocols but a triumph of hotel staff. The movie is so violent, I don't understand why the terrorists were speaking in Punjabi, whereas, all know who they were from and what language they spoke. Movie was focused on VIP foreigners and their lives. Also, no mention of Pakistan's involvment. Seems like the movie was sponsored by Taj Hotel to raise their profile.
