I’ve been playing Halo since I was 13. Halo Reach was the first game I ever played on my very first Xbox. Let me be the first to say that 343 did it. This is an excellent game. The story fixed most of the problems made by Halo 5’s narrative while leaving a lot of room in between for explanation. Good mechanics, very solid story. 343 were very respectful to Chief’s character and motivations, and his arc is deepened a lot without changing him. I’m very impressed and after 6 years, reinvigorated. I’m excited to see what’s next for Halo after this. Well done.
