The best book I've ever read. Wow. It's rare a book makes me experience a full range of emotions, especially as deeply as this one did. I felt my own sense of shame for being so poorly educated on the Vietnam War and the critical role women played in it. What a powerful story that sheds light on true events and more so real and sharply significant human experiences tied to a seriously culturally and very realistically pivotal time in history. A must read, particularly for American women. So well written! I couldn't stop, and when I did, it was only because I wanted to prolong it ending.
