I read a review that referenced the protagonist “discovering the joys of the road.” I have traveled extensively in an old VW bus and yes, the joys of the road exist....but that is not what this movie is about. There is very little joy in it rather it shows how people can become disconnected and learn to cope with isolation. A meaningful glimpse into a particular lifestyle.
