Although a fascinating and important subject -and incredibly well researched- it was just too dense to call it a great read. What is clear is that from this book is that all German companies that stayed in existence and profited during the Nazi Era benefited from the stealing of Jewish businesses and slave labour . It’s a very sad story because the men and now their billionaire offspring who profited the most are Germany’s wealthiest families today. Will they ever be punished ? Unlikely. That is why NEVER AGAIN feels tenuous at best.

I read this book on kindle and I underlined so many passages under notes that said ‘pure genius’ . This book is one of the most beautifully written books. The story is told perfectly. My advice is to read the book until the very very end- the very last page ...Trent Dalton on writing Boy Swallows Universe.
