I have only seen the previews of this show but was saddened. I was saddened because the need for a transplant of any kind is a very serious situation. At first viewing of the preview, I was somewhat taken aback at the minimization of and insensitivity to such a serious issue. Unless a family member is cleared to donate, one can sometimes wait on a transplant list for years. After being near deathly ilI 21 years ago, I received a kidney from my dear sister. Presently, I know three people who are seriously in need of a transplant. I recently learned that one of them was diagnosed with COVID and was admitted to the hospital tonight with a diagnosis of pneumonia. Her kidney function is less than 10 percent. It is my hope that in the midst of the comedy, this show will somehow help bring education and awareness to the great need for organ donations.
