Inner Visions

I was so looking forward to it Conclave, but I was very disappointed. I watch a lot of movies, several a week. I watch movies from the 20's up to the present and I just have to say, Conclave is not a good movie on many levels. The Cardinals were extremely one dimensional, the same plot device was used over and over again, and the ending was simply ridiculous. BTW, Benitez was not transgendered; he was intersex, big difference. He identified as male, but was born with both female and male sexual organs. That is how God made him. A lot of people were upset with the portrayal of the cardinals and the process of the conclave. Having not been raised Catholic, I do not have an opinion on that aspect. But what struck me, and has always struck me, about the church is all the pomp and circumstance. I can't imagine what Jesus would have to say about the "true church". "I'll never watch another Ralph Fiennes film again after this..." Several people said this in their 1 star reviews. I'm sorry/not sorry, but that is totally ridiculous. So because he is in one movie that you didn't approve of, you will never see another movie he's in? That is probably one of the most ILLOGICAL things I have ever heard. That shows a complete lack of critical thinking. And what about Tucci and Lithgow, who by the way were terrible; at the very least Fiennes gave a great performance.
