Personally I did not like this reboot at all, I unfortunately have to say it’s one of Disney's worst live actions made to date.. it’s truly sad because the classic is definitely one of my all time favorites, it shows that when being a woman you are expected to do what men believe woman are meant for, but no Mulan broke that pattern and changed it for all and showed that when being a woman expectations aren’t something that should exist or exist at all. There are many other factors about the classic make that make it far better, but I want to get into the remake, I have to say that the 2020 remake completely destroys the feel of a classic Disney movie, there was not a one of the classic Disney movie songs, and to make matters worse there was no Mushu, as we all know he added that feel of what a classic Disney movie had to it, now I understand that they’re we’re trying to incorporate more of a life story feel to it, but I feel that what we were all looking for is the Singing Mulan and the classic joking mushu but we weren’t delivered any of that so sadly I have to give this movie a 1/5 stars :(
