Incredible moving story, the power of a mother's love, and every character type you find in the world, I saw my self in one of the most frustrating characters and bawled my eyes out. So many twists and turns you will be scraping your jaw off the floor.

Not my prefered genre, I love this film., it's brutal, beautifully cast, beautifully acted and directed. I've lost count of how many times I've watched it, a deeply moving extremely well done film.

Not well written, not well acted some terrible actors and over actors, new characters appear without explanation, gratuitous sex and nudity scenes. After season 3 its practically unwatchable. Looks great some nice hair braiding and the character of Floki is well acted and the only interesting character in it. Ragnars sons are tedious. Season 4 was bad but season 5 is worse, too many side lines and characters we dont know or care about. Except Floki of course, i want a sequel thats just about him.

I think this film can only be appreciated by people who have struggled with their faith. I find this film so powerful and poignant. The scene where Darwin and his wife, at last, utterly shattered, have a conversation about the loss of their child is the most powerful scene I have ever seen. It is a powerful wonderful film but I can see why non believers would not understand the gravity of his struggle. For those who do understand its just amazing.
