Last line should have been James Caan's. Ellen's...eye roll.🙄 Ann Margaret was over the top and might have been downplayed a little. Too much goo goo...almost nauseating. Once she settled down, her character was likeable. Jane C. is Jane C. Not real sure why I liked this in the middle and then again at the end...but, I did. It was believable and it wasn't and then it was and then it........

I wanted more...the TV version. The story line is great but uncharacteristically ... Almost slapstick. Predictable in almost every scenario.. Carson would NEVER go along with shananigans that are going on downstairs! I missed the drama. characters were empty ... Too many quips from Granny ... Not funny after the first few. Left disappointed
